Counselling provides you with a safe and confidential space to talk about your issues and concerns with a trained professional. 

I require 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation via a text or email to avoid an invoice being produced and a fee charged. I appreciate life doesn't always play ball and this isn't always possible. Where I can a new session will be rearranged instead of cancelled. If you are unable to make a session and do not inform me you will need to pay in full for this session.

If you are paying for your sessions 'as-you-go' then I require payment via bank transfer before the session. I will text you a link to pay or you can pay by bank transfer. If you are paying with cash bring this along to your session. 

There really isn't an answer to this questions! For some people it can be as little as a few session and for others it can continue for years. If you decide to have counselling with myself we will talk about what feels right for you at the time and I will continue to check in with you periodically to make sure it is still what you want, you are getting what you want from counselling and I am still the right counsellor for you. 

Sessions are £50 each.

A block of 6 sessions paid in advance is £250

This is individual to you and your needs. Generally speaking it helps to start with weekly sessions to keep with the flow of the story and your feelings. As time goes on and your self awareness and understanding increases you may wish to have counselling fortnightly or monthly. If this is the case we can have this discussion at the time and manage your sessions together. 

Sessions are 50 minutes long.

As a member of BACP I am bound by their Ethical Framework to protect a client’s confidentiality. Therefore, everything that we discuss is confidential except in certain circumstances, which are listed below. 

• Harm to self or others: I reserve the right to break confidentiality if I think that you have become a danger to yourself or other people. I will attempt to discuss this with you and my supervisor first, but this may not always be possible. 

• For legal and ethical reasons: I am not bound by confidentiality if in good faith I feel that I can assist in the prevention or detection of a serious crime, this includes safeguarding issues regarding children or vulnerable adults, crime regarding substantial financial gains and losses, and acts of terrorism. 

I currently work Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm for face-to-face sessions.

For telephone or online sessions I have availability throughout the weekday until 8pm.
